What is primary and secondary research?

Primary research is gathering new data that has not been collected before. Its our unique piece of research, for example surveys, libraries or museums is a ways to collect the primary data. Our trip to the Royal Armoury is Leeds was a primary research.

Secondary research involves collecting already existing data that has been already used and produced by somebody else, example for this is internet. We doing secondary research most of the time in school.

And finally…

Knowledge of difference between primary, and secondary research is required to successfully finish this course. Now I know a difference, and I will try to use both types of collecting information’s in future.
